Candidates willing to apply for UP Police Constable Recruitment can register for these posts from tomorrow, i.e. December 27. To apply, you have to go to the official website of UPPBPB uppbpb.gov.in.

The last date to apply is January 16, 2024. Whereas, the last date for payment of application fee is January 18, 2024. This recruitment drive will fill 60244 posts in the organization.

UP Police Constable Recruitment: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who want to apply for the posts must have passed class 10 or class 12 from a recognized institute board. The age limit of the candidate should be between 18 to 22 years.
Selection Process
The selection process involves written examination. Total marks in written exam is 300 and duration of exam is 2 hours. Candidates who will qualify the written examination will have to appear for Physical Standard Test and Document Verification followed by Physical Efficiency Test.
Application fee
The application fee for all the candidates applying for UP Police Constable Recruitment is Rs 400. Payment should be made through online mode. The application process will start from tomorrow.

UP Police Constable Exam Pattern 2024: How will the recruitment be done?
Under the UP Police Constable recruitment process, candidates will first have to appear in the written examination. Which will be of total 300 marks. There will be multiple choice type questions. There will be a total paper of 2 hours. In the examination, questions will be asked from General Knowledge, General Hindi, Numerical and Mental Ability and Mental Aptitude, Intelligence and Logical Ability. A total of 150 questions will be asked in the paper. Besides, there will be negative marking of one-fourth mark for wrong answers.
UP Police Constable PET PST 2024: Physical Standard Test
Candidates successful in the written examination will have to appear in the physical standard test. Under this, the height of male candidates should be at least 168 cm. For ST category it is fixed at 160 cm. Whereas the chest width of men should be 79 cm and when expanded it should be 84 cm. For ST category it is 77 and 82 cm respectively. The height of female candidates should be minimum 152 cm. The height of ST category women should be 147 cm. The weight should be at least 40 kg.
UP Police Constable Physical Test 2024: Physical Efficiency Test
Successful candidates in the standard test will have to give a physical efficiency test, in which male candidates will have to complete a 4.8 km run in 25 minutes and female candidates will have to complete a 2.4 km run in 14 minutes. In this, the selection of successful candidates will be prepared through a merit list prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination.
