Understanding God’s Will for Salvation: Are You Included?

It is not God’s will for anybody to perish. Do you share the same dedication?

In contrast to how some people define slowness, the Lord keeps his promises without delay. He is patient with you, desiring that everyone turn to Christ rather than perish.

The fundamental goal of church planting is to see people turn from their sins and place their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Peter tells us that God’s desire is for no one to perish in II Peter 3:9. Our mission should be to inspire and educate a new generation of evangelists inside our church so that they can reach the unconverted and the general public.

I traveled to the Amazon River region when we were initially invited to build churches there in order to assess the situation and discern God’s will. I was shocked to learn that, despite the church existing close by in Iquitos for many years, the majority of the surrounding towns had not yet heard the gospel. It became imperative to me to visit as many of the villages as possible to share the gospel with them as we went on evangelistic journeys to reach a few of them.

We started evangelising in the villages with assistance from summertime evangelistic groups. We provided evangelism sessions in the evenings, a new believer’s class, and children’s ministry in the mornings.

God implanted a plan in our hearts to return every three months to equip each town with a spiritual leader. By God’s help, more than fifty churches have since been established, with leaders coming from the communities where they were raised.

God does not desire for anybody to perish. How devoted are you to ensuring that everyone gets the opportunity to know Christ?

Lord Please open your heart to the lost, share your desire to see the unreached know you, and lead the way for me. Indeed.

The rationale behind God’s salvation plan

The first step in God’s plan of salvation is for us to comprehend why we require salvation. To put it plainly, we are sinners and need to be redeemed. Everybody has sinned, according to the Bible (Ecclesiastes 7:20; Romans 3:23; 1 John 1:8). Sin is disobedience to God. Everybody makes the deliberate decision to act improperly. Sin degrades not just ourselves but also other people and, most crucially, God. The Bible also teaches that God cannot tolerate sin because He is holy and righteous. Death (Romans 6:23) and eternal separation from God (Revelation 20:11–15) are the consequences of sin. Every human being is destined for eternal death in the absence of God’s plan of salvation

The What of God’s redemption plan

The only one who can provide for our salvation according to God’s plan of salvation is God. Because of our sin and the results of it, we are completely powerless to save ourselves. In the Person of Jesus Christ, God took on human form (John 1:1, 14). Jesus sacrificed Himself as a perfect sacrifice on our behalf (1 Corinthians 15:3; Colossians 1:22; Hebrews 10:10) and lived a blameless life (2 Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 4:15; 1 John 3:5). Jesus’ death has enormous and eternal significance because He is God. The world’s sins were entirely covered by the death of Jesus Christ on the cross (1 John 2:2). His bodily resurrection served as proof that His atonement was enough and that atonement is at hand.

The How of God’s redemption plan

A man asked the apostle Paul in Acts 16:31 how to be saved. “Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved,” was Paul’s reply. Believing is the first step towards obeying God’s plan of salvation. That is everything that is needed (Ephesians 2:8–9; John 3:16). Through Jesus Christ, God has made provision for our redemption. It just has to be accepted by faith, with complete reliance on Jesus as our only Saviour (John 14:6; Acts 4:12). That is how God has designed salvation.

The salvation plan of God: Will you accept it?

Put your confidence in Jesus as your Saviour if you’re prepared to adhere to God’s plan of salvation. Switch your perspective from accepting sin and denying God to rejecting sin and accepting God thru Jesus Christ. Put all of your faith on Jesus’ atoning work as the whole and perfect solution to your sins. God’s Word guarantees that if you follow through on this, you will be saved, have your sins forgiven, and spend all of eternity in paradise. There’s nothing more crucial to decide. Embrace Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour right now!
