Taylor Swift is giving fans an inside peek at Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour before it is released for streaming on Thursday, March 14.
“Good morning, America,” Swift, 34, said during the Monday, March 11 program of GMA. “Tune in every day this week to get an exclusive look into the acoustic songs from The Eras Tour, my version, and don’t miss the film when it drops on Disney+ this Thursday at 6 p.m. Pacific.”
Swift previously claimed that more songs from the Eras Tour were recorded on camera than were displayed in the concert film’s first release.
“Her name is Taylor, and she’ll be your host ✨ a few hours earlier ✨ than expected!” Taylor Nation’s official Instagram account made the announcement on March 4. “Experience the entire concert film, beginning to end, including ‘cardigan’ and 4 additional songs from the acoustic set (post: watch to the end of the trailer).”

Aside from “Cardigan” from Swift’s Folklore phase, the new tracks include “Maroon” from her Midnights era. The remaining two songs have yet to be formally announced, but it looks that GMA viewers will get to witness the performances first.
On October 13, 2023, Swift released Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, a concert movie, in cinemas. The film rapidly became the second highest-grossing concert film of all time, earning $250.3 million globally. (Michael Jackson’s This Is It, from 2009, retains the record.)
Following the film’s popularity, Swift received a Golden Globe nomination in the Cinematic and Box Office Achievement category, which was newly added for the 2024 awards ceremony.
Swift was up against Barbie. Guardians of the Galaxy, Volume 3 John Wick: Chapter 4, Mission: Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One Oppenheimer, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, and The Super Mario Bros. Movie.

Swift attended the Golden Globes in January but did not win the trophy. Barbie eventually achieved cinematic and box-office success. Swift was previously nominated for the Golden Globe in 2020. Her song “Beautiful Ghosts” from Cats was nominated for Best Original Song but lost to Diane Warren, Laura Pausing, and Niccolò Gagliardi’s “Io is (Seen)” from The Life Ahead.
