Introduction:

Max Holloway showed he’s the toughest guy around by beating Justin Gathje at UFC 300 and winning the “BMF” belt. He even dared Gathje to keep fighting hard until the end, proving he’s a true champion. The outcome wasn’t just the clear knockout of the year; it might just be the craziest knockout in the UFC’s 31-year history. Gathje was knocked out and didn’t move on the floor, while Holloway celebrated with a loud scream. Even though there were other important fights that night, Holloway’s knockout was the most memorable moment, showing how amazing he is as a UFC fighter.

Bold challenge:

Holloway took the chance to ask for a shot at the featherweight title, not only against the current featherweight champion, Ilia Topuria, but also against the lightweight champion, Islam Mukachevo. Holloway confidently declared, “I’m the one, guys! I’m the one you’re looking for!” he’s determined and aggressive, like a bull charging at a matador in a bullfight. Even against Islam. Islam is known for fighting against featherweights, right? Well, I’m here. I’m ready for him. I’ll fight anyone, regardless of weight. I’m like a warrior ready for battle– fearless and ready.  Whoever’s up next, just sign the contract, and let’s do this.

Holloway requested a $600,000 bonus, and Dana White, the president of the UFC, agreed to it. This decision was easy to understand, given Holloway’s outstanding performance in the fight. With this bonus, Holloway’s total earnings from bonuses throughout his career have reached $1.15 million, according to Aaron Branstiter from Sportsnet. “White Praises Holloway’s Bonus: Deserved and Easy Decision” Holloway got 13 bonuses in his career, but Charles Oliveira holds the UFC record with 19 bonuses. However, Holloway has the highest total bonus money of any fighter in UFC history because of these bonuses. White said, “He totally deserved it. It wasn’t hard to decide.”

“The Story of UFC 300: Holloway’s Win and Gathje’s Loss“: Holloway, at 32 years old, returned to the lightweight division for the second time, showcasing his traditional abilities. Holloway was better than Gathje in every round, fighting faster. Gathje’s nose started bleeding heavily in the first round, and Gathje had a hard time keeping pace as the fight continued.

Throughout the first round, Holloway dominated the fight. Then, at the end of the round, he surprised Gathje by kicking him in the nose with his heel, which made Gathje lose his balance.

Between rounds, Gathje kept touching his nose in pain, and it seemed like he might need to take a break from the fight to recover.
In the second round, Holloway had a chance to take advantage of his injured opponent, but things went badly. He accidentally hit Gathje in the left eye, and then he did it again a few minutes later, but this time in the right eye. Thankfully, Gathje is strong and didn’t want the
match to end because of the eye pokes.

Holloway continued to hit Gathje with punches during the third round and for most of the fourth round, showing his dominance in the fight. He’s really good at landing effective punches and kicks in his matches, and it’s one of the reasons he’s considered one of the best.
fighters in the sport. Surprisingly, Gathje suddenly knocked Holloway to the ground, which made Holloway have to defend himself for much of the remaining part of the round. This means that even though Holloway was doing well earlier in the fight, Gathje caught him off guard and put him in a difficult position where he had to focus on defending himself.

Holloway managed to stay in the fight. He was winning on points throughout the fifth round, But then he decided to take a risk. Even though he was winning, he did something daring by getting into close combat with one of the UFC’s best knockout fighters. It was a fantastic demonstration of MMA skills that excited the crowd, but it ended with Gathje being knocked out. This means that the crowd liked watching the impressive fighting skills, but it was bad for Gathje because he got knocked out and lost, not awake or aware for
a period of time.

“Harrison’s UFC Debut: Total Domination of Holm”: Kayla Harrison is a fighter you should be scared of, and she proved that in her first UFC fight without even needing to go through all three rounds.

Kayla Harrison, a 33-year-old fighter from Ohio, beat UFC legend Holly Holm in their fight at UFC 300.Harrison made Holm tap out by putting her in a strong hold from behind in the second round. The fight happened at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Harrison came out of the fight without any injuries. She confidently said she’d be a UFC champion by the end of the year.

Harrison started learning judo when she was just 6 years old. She made history by becoming the first American to win an Olympic gold medal in judo in 2012, and she won another gold in 2016. On the other hand, Holm, who is 42 years old, used to be a UFC bantamweight champion and is famous for her striking skills.

In 2015, Holm caused a major upset by beating Ronda Rousey, who had won an Olympic bronze medal in judo. She surprised everyone by knocking out the bantamweight champion with a powerful kick in the second round. This is seen as one of the most shocking moments in UFC history.

Even though it happened nine years ago, Holm was still confident when she entered the fight on Saturday. In the first round, she found herself wrestling on the ground two times. She flipped over Harrison’s attempt to take her down within the first 30 seconds of the fight. But later in the round, she was in a difficult situation with Harrison on top of her, hitting her hard from the ground. This was the worst situation to be in against someone as strong as Harrison. Before the second round began, Holm’s eyes were getting swollen.

In the last five minutes, Holm only landed one big hit, while Harrison landed 46.When Holm surrendered by tapping out at 1 minute and 47 seconds into the second round, it felt like a nice way to end a fight that she wasn’t winning at any time.

Right after winning, Harrison spoke with Joe Rogan and asked for a championship fight. She didn’t say Amanda Nunes’ name, but the greatest of all time still responded. She uploaded a video where she listened to the challenge and then cheered loudly after it finished.

Nunes wrote “Chama” as her caption, which is Brazilian slang for “let’s go.” Nunes stopped fighting last summer after defending her bantamweight championship against Irene Aldana at UFC 289.After her victory, she retired as the champion in both women’s bantamweight and featherweight divisions. So, it’s not difficult to think she might return for a major fight. Harrison could be the perfect person for her to fight against.
