Julianne Moore’s simple good habits in life
Julianne Moore has been a Hollywood leading lady since the mid-1990s, yet her young appearance never fails to dazzle.
The 60-year-old Oscar-winning actress has now shared the straightforward daily routines that help delay the ageing process.
The mother of two gave this explanation in an interview with The Sunday Times’ Style: “My mother had a lot to do with it since she wouldn’t allow us go in the sun.
“I resemble her, and she couldn’t be in the light. Every day, I cover my face with sunscreen and a hat.
Moore- disclosed that she consumes a lot of fish and veggies in her diet. Moore and her husband, film director Bart Freundlich, have a 23-year-old son named Caleb and a 19-year-old daughter named Liv.
She also has radiofrequency and microneedling facials on a monthly basis.
The celebrity continued by saying that she makes an effort to practice yoga four or five times a week and that it has “saved” her throughout the epidemic.
The celebrity said it is “silly” to get older in a field that is known for being ageist when it is a “privilege to continue to age.”
The Still Alice and A Single Man actress said that although her personal life “wasn’t successful,” her “hard-working, laser-focused” nature worked wonders for her profession when she was younger.
Moore stated: “I didn’t realise I wanted it too until I was in my early thirties. I desired to start a family, have kids, and make sure the person I was with also desired to have kids.
Her film The Myth of Fingerprints, which Freundlich directed in 1996, introduced her to the man; the two got married in 2003.
Last August, she captioned an Instagram photo of the duo, saying, “I told him to take a shower. My hair smelt awful, like an old box or mildew, he remarked.
“Happy 20th anniversary of your marriage, @freundlich96 – I wouldn’t want to spend every day with anybody else. I cherish you.”
When you ask Julianne Moore about her beauty regimen, she will tell you how important it is to take a luxurious bath after a long day, give you a long list of techniques to prolong a blowout for a whole week, and stress how important sunscreen is. But what about her connection with makeup? Let’s just say that she has somewhat changed in her perspective. It was expected of us to wear cosmetics while we were growing up. She tells Marie Claire, “It was how you were supposed to look professional and present yourself to the world.” People no longer use cosmetics in the same ways because the world has changed. We apply cosmetics now to draw attention to [our characteristics] or just because it feels celebratory. We no longer feel obligated to wear it, which is great.
Nevertheless, the Still Alice star is a red lipstick addict, and she has discovered a new favourite in the Hourglass Cosmetics Unlocked Satin Créme Lipstick line. She describes it as “malient, long-wearing, and really pretty.” “I also appreciate that animal rights will receive five percent of the lipstick’s sales proceeds.” Moore has hundreds of other cosmetic products that she absolutely loves, but this purpose-driven product may be at the top of her list in terms of makeup. The Oscar Award-winning performer swears by these products (as well as habits and rituals), which range from heat mats filled with crystals to Epsom salts and chlorophyll drops.
Arise and shine.
I often get up between 7:30 and 8 o’clock when I’m not working because I don’t want to go to bed later. After that, I’ll fill both of my huge glasses with chlorophyll after filtering them and bringing them to room temperature. I think I’ve been doing it for fifteen years. Wachter’s Chlorphyll was the drink I used to consume after hearing from someone that it was beneficial for their skin. Since they are no longer in business, I now use ChlorOxygen, which is more portable and comes with a little dropper.
I’ll have at least three cups of coffee after that. Big ones, not little ones. I drink them, and I know that sounds awful, but I drink them with half and half. I sip my coffee from a porcelain cup created by JB Blunk, an artist whose daughter recycled many of his creations. New York Times is what I read. Their Spelling Bee is what I do. I adore spelling bees, and I’m addicted to them. That sometimes wakes me up in the morning. Tell me what I missed, please. I adore it.
