In a “Despicable” Act, Mayorkas Blocks Congress.

AMayorkas has confronted a few dangers of prosecution from conservatives for his part in compromising U.S. public safety and his ability to mislead advance the Biden organization’s open line plan however has effectively avoided responsibility up to this point.

lejandro Mayorkas, the secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, declined to respond to questions from Republican Seantors on Tuesday on the several issues afflicting the country while he was in office.

Sen. Ron Johnson, a Republican, questioned Mayorkas on Tuesday at a Senate Committee on Homeland Security & Governmental Affairs hearing on the number of individuals the Biden administration had “let into the country.”

Mayorkas attempted to skirt the subject by pointing the finger upon the “broken immigration system.”

“I required a number. How many individuals have you allowed to enter our nation? Johnson re-asked.

Johnson interrupted Mayorkas when he attempted to skirt the questioning by inventing an explanation.

Johnson responded, “I’ll give you the number.” It is around 6 million. 1.7 million escapees are known to exist. We have no idea who these individuals are. All we know is that they arrived in our nation and are currently live someplace.

Not only did Mayorkas steadfastly refuse to respond to inquiries concerning the open border and the heightened threat of terrorism that comes with it.

Sen. Josh Hawley questioned Mayorkas about why Nejwa Ali, a DHS employee with open antisemitic views who has worked for the Palestine Liberation Organization in the past, had not yet been dismissed after uploading images endorsing Hamas’ surprise attack on Israel. Mayorkas was unable to provide a clear response.

“Have you let her go?” Hawley enquired. “Do not come to this hearing room during an invasion of Israel, when Jewish students are being threatened with death and are barricaded in libraries across this nation and cannot be escorted out.” You claim it’s disgusting for me to raise the subject when your staff celebrate genocide. Has she lost her job?

Mayorkas acknowledged that Ali had been put “on administrative leave,” but she did not elaborate on the department’s reasoning.

Mayorkas ducked when Hawley repeatedly questioned why Ali was still not dismissed, saying, “I cannot speak to an ongoing personnel matter.”

“You can’t speak to it, is that your response? You don’t think this is enough to fire her? Hawley tugged. “Her salary is still being paid by you as we speak here today.”

Mayorkas corrected him, stating, “I’m not saying that.”

Hawley questioned if DHS was aware of Ali’s admission of “people who shouldn’t be in this country or denied Jewish refugees, whose genocides she’s advocating for, asylum that they deserve,” in violation of the law.

Once more, Mayorkas declined to respond to Hawley’s inquiries.

“You’re not going to disclose this person’s actions to us?” Hawley enquired. “At the very least, are you reviewing her cases?

Hawley stated that Mayorkas had no justification for remaining silent on Ali because he was aware of Hawley’s written concerns well in advance of the hearing.

You come here hesitant to answer and imply that it was improper of me to ask you the question, even though you are fully aware of it. To be quite honest, Mr. Secretary, I find your performance to be abhorrent. And I believe it is just abhorrent that you are unwilling to respond to this committee’s questions, Hawley said.

Mayorkas stated that because his mother survived the Holocaust, the questions were “disrespectful of me and my heritage.”

The suggestion that this language—which is incredibly offensive—may represent the feelings of the 260,000 men and women who work for the Department of Homeland Security is what Mayorkas called “despicable.”

Nevertheless, he persisted in refusing to give candid answers in a hearing when bureaucrats were required to give candid answers to the organization that funds their agency.

Gary Peters, the Democratic chairman of the Committee, turned down Hawley’s request to address Mayorkas’ remarks.

Republicans have threatened to impeach Mayorkas on many occasions for his participation in jeopardizing US national security and his readiness to tell lies to further the Biden administration’s open border policies, but he has so far been able to avoid consequences.
